Requirements
- Students working toward a 4-year construction or engineering related degree.
- Candidates must be self-motivated, adaptable and have the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have good communication skills and be highly collaborative.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of construction techniques, drawings and specifications, and building materials is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for bidding functions, project management, and construction supervision efforts.
- Assist in management and coordination of submittals, cost control, scheduling, reporting, and document control activities through various phases of the project.
- Gain complete project life-cycle exposure, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities.
- Attend a variety of structured training classes.
- Visit multiple active project sites.
Benefits
- Intern compensation rate is $19 per hour.
