About The Position

This position is responsible for installing, maintaining and inspecting security systems. Ensure that all systems and components are maintained according to industry standards and the operational requirements of the customer. Ensure the installation technicians are effectively and efficiently performing their duties and tasks.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of IP networking, camera configurations and power systems (solar/battery)
  • Ability to act in a lead capacity.
  • Exceptional internal/external verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and proficiency using project management software
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the security industry preferred
  • Some technical school training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the daily workflow of the department.
  • Reviewing specific department reports to ensure proper and efficient methods are being followed.
  • Ensuring technicians arrive to job sites on-time and in accordance with their installation assignment.
  • Monitoring technician performance and safety protocols on site.
  • Installing security systems or appropriate devices, dismantling and/or reconstructing equipment as required by customer or the Company.
  • Making connections and required adjustments as directed, and testing operation of all components of each system.
  • Conducting site surveys and customer training.
  • Keeping manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
  • Reporting on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material to management.
  • Communicating with customers on job status or completion.
  • Crafting and submitting project status reports.
  • Submitting complete and accurate paperwork in a timely manner, obtaining proper signatures.
  • Accurately recording travel and service times, timesheets, identifying warranties, changes and code issues and providing accurate descriptions.
  • Working independently on customer sites.
  • Performing other duties assigned by management.
  • Adhering to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
