About The Position

Magnus Management Group is seeking a Senior Administrative Support / Project Information Specialist for a full-time, W-2 employee position supporting the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Arlington, VA. This role requires a Secret clearance and involves providing comprehensive administrative and project support over a 5-year contract. The specialist will be responsible for managing information, supporting technical and IT needs, providing audio-visual and facilities support, and ensuring efficient task and problem management.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of administrative management or relevant work experience.
  • College degree required in business or information management and/or related.
  • Proficient in the use of commercial software packages and databases, such as Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Proficient in the use of a variety of IT programs, databases, and computerized systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to innovative and quality customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Physical ability to move a large number of files and/or file boxes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with other administrative services like office management, building and facilities management, human resources, and/or budget/finance.
  • Experience with travel management.
  • Experience in information and records management.
  • Experience providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting issues with AV equipment during events such as microphone and monitor connectivity; presentations or visual material access.
  • Experience creating and editing audio-visual content such as presentations and videos.
  • Experience setting up conference, board, or training rooms.
  • Experience with other administrative services like office management, building and facilities management, human resources, and/or security.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement organizational or administrative management policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
