About The Position

The Project Financial Analyst II will be responsible for reviewing and approving unit trackers, interacting with clinical project managers, identifying out-of-scope activities, preparing financial presentations, and providing financial expertise on projects. This role involves uploading budgets, participating in percent complete reviews, and assisting in client negotiations.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other business major.
  • At least 2 years of relevant PFA experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve unit trackers monthly for work performed.
  • Send unit tracker to client per contract for approval and answer client questions on unit tracker in partnership with operational teams.
  • Interact regularly with clinical project managers on actual work performed against contracted scope of work.
  • Identify out of scope activities and assess profitability potential.
  • Collaborate with Project team to strategize best way to prepare and present data to client.
  • Prepare presentation of data for management and client.
  • Prepare reporting on cumulative project overages.
  • Participate in client accrual spreadsheet preparation process.
  • Provide financial expertise and assistance on projects ranging in size, revenue, and complexity.
  • Upload budgets into FinancialForce system.
  • Participate in hourly percent complete reviews.
  • Participate in negotiations with clients on Out of Scope work or Reconciliations.
