About The Position

The Project Financial Analyst II will be responsible for reviewing and approving unit trackers, collaborating with project teams on scope and profitability, preparing financial reports and presentations for management and clients, and providing financial expertise on projects. This role involves uploading budgets, participating in percent complete reviews, and negotiating with clients on out-of-scope work or reconciliations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other business major.
  • At least 2 years of relevant PFA experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve unit trackers monthly for work performed.
  • Send unit tracker to client per contract for approval and answer client questions on unit tracker in partnership with operational teams.
  • Interact regularly with clinical project managers on actual work performed against contracted scope of work.
  • Identify out of scope activities and assess profitability potential.
  • Collaborate with Project team to strategize best way to prepare and present data to client.
  • Prepare presentation of data for management and client.
  • Prepare reporting on cumulative project overages.
  • Participate in client accrual spreadsheet preparation process.
  • Provide financial expertise and assistance on projects ranging in size, revenue, and complexity.
  • Upload budgets into FinancialForce system.
  • Participate in hourly percent complete reviews.
  • Participate in negotiations with clients on Out of Scope work or Reconciliations.
