Requirements

  • Above all, you are hungry, humble, and smart.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep knowledge of construction principles, engineering practices, management strategies, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Strong planning and decision-making skills to navigate challenges and keep projects on track.
  • Skilled at finding solutions and reaching agreements that benefit all stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety standards and legal issues to ensure compliance and maintain secure worksites.
  • Clear, confident communicator with the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Integrity, respect, and the tact to build trust and strong relationships across teams.
  • A sense of urgency, a proactive mindset, and a work ethic that delivers results.

Responsibilities

  • Review plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project scope and develop accurate, complete estimates from the ground up.
  • Perform takeoffs, identify labor and material requirements, and uncover scope gaps before they become costly surprises.
  • Analyze costs, compare subcontractor proposals, and develop pricing that supports smart, profitable decision‑making.
  • Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and owners to gather information, clarify scope, and strengthen partnerships.
  • Balance project vision, constructability, and budget to help deliver the best value for clients.
  • Identify risks, resolve cost discrepancies, and develop practical solutions before issues impact the project.
  • Support value engineering efforts and help find creative ways to meet project goals while staying within budget.
  • Partner with estimators, project managers, and operations teams to ensure complete scopes and successful project handoffs.
  • Prepare estimates, recommendations, and pricing information that help leadership make informed decisions.
  • Maintain accurate estimate files, backup documentation, and project records so information is easy to access and verify.
  • Stay curious about construction methods, market conditions, and industry trends to continuously improve your knowledge and results.
  • Conduct every interaction with professionalism, integrity, and respect—because our relationships are just as important as the projects we build.
