About The Position

Hanes Geo Components (HGC) is seeking a detail-oriented, competitive Project Estimator to estimate project bids and manage projects through the pipeline. The role offers the opportunity to learn the business from the ground up, work alongside a sales team, and drive project sales execution. The estimator supports contractors, engineers, and field sales staff with technical sales assistance and helps move projects from bid opportunity through close.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Working knowledge of the construction industry.
• Technical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Identify bid opportunities for an assigned region.
• Evaluate and complete materials take-offs.
• Prepare bids and coordinate with field sales staff.
• Manage the project process through close.
• Qualify products and provide product specifications.
• Frequently review technical specification requirements for products.
• Provide technical sales support to contractors, engineers, and field sales staff.
• Maintain and update the project tracking database, including project details, quoted prices, and competitive information, to support current and future project development.
