About The Position

Hanes Geo Components (HGC) converts and distributes erosion control and soil stabilization products to distributors and contractors throughout the United States and Canada. The Project Estimator identifies and evaluates bid opportunities for an assigned region, completes material take-offs and bids, and coordinates with field sales staff to manage projects through close. The role also provides technical sales support and contributes to product qualification and review of technical specifications. The position works alongside the sales team to support project sales execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Working knowledge of the construction industry.
• Technical and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Identify bid opportunities for an assigned region.
• Evaluate and complete material take-offs and bids.
• Coordinate with field sales staff and manage projects through close.
• Qualify products, provide product specifications, and frequently review technical specification requirements.
• Provide technical sales support to contractors, engineers, and field sales staff.
• Maintain and update the project tracking database, including project details, quoted customer prices, and competitive information to support current and future project development.
