About The Position
The Project Estimator calculates project costs for Standard Textile’s Interiors Group based on blueprints and/or specifications. The role prepares estimates and takeoffs, obtains vendor and material pricing, and maintains project files while supporting internal and external customers. The position follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office work Tuesdays through Thursdays; additional onsite days may be required during training, when associates are expected to be in the office.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1–3 years of estimating experience.
- Intermediate MS Excel knowledge.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Estimate project costs accurately and on time using Excel, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, or other provided forms for internal and external customers.
- Prepare takeoffs from blueprints or specifications to determine project quantities and required treatments.
- Obtain vendor quotes and material costs from internal or external suppliers.
- Prepare project files and serve as a resource to internal and/or external customers.
