About The Position

Strategic Project Engineering Support – 50% Development of Engineering Owner's project requirements based on existing engineering standards Review basis of design for alignment to engineering standards Participation in gate reviews for assigned projects Sign-off on design reviews for assigned projects Review of key project submittals Review and coordination of key RFI responses Leading the effort between the project team and operations for turn over to and from the project Ensuring key owner tasks are integrated, coordinated into the project Acceptance of critical spaces at project turnover Development and implementation of training for IFM team for new systems Commissioning – 25% Governance of Commissioning program in collaboration with IFM team Development of Owners requirements for Commissioning new project installations Program ownership for retro-commissioning efforts Facility Management Support – 15% Support field teams technically with data analysis from building automation and other systems Sustainability – 10% Support for LEED based projects Participation in LEED Operations and Maintenance efforts Analysis of data to identify energy saving opportunities

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Familiarity with facility software systems including: maintenance management systems (CMMS, Planon), building automation systems (BAS, Distech).
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of building systems and equipment.
  • Third party vendor management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of managing a project preferred.
  • Financial Services or function-specific experience preferred.
  • Commissioning certification (required to obtain within first year).
  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • LEED certification preferred.

Responsibilities
