Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office. Oura is seeking an experienced and highly organized Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) to support critical project operations that enable hardware product development and NPI execution. This role has two primary focal areas: supporting hardware prototype distribution operations across the company and with external partners, and helping operationalize the Engineering Project Specialist function to support NPI engineering development and builds. In this role, you will help develop and run the processes, tools, and operating cadences needed to manage prototype shipping, inventory control, distribution, re-distribution, and chain of custody. You will also support the structure and coordination mechanisms that help engineering teams execute efficiently through prototype, EVT, DVT, and other build phases, including BOM readiness, design release tracking to vendors, and NPI material readiness. The role is highly cross-functional and execution-focused, partnering closely with Hardware Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Pre-Production Lab staff, Contract Manufacturers, Logistics, Privacy and Security, and external partners and suppliers. This position will serve as a key operational partner to NPI teams by improving how builds are prepared, supported, tracked, and followed through, while ensuring prototypes are handled securely, tracked accurately, and moved efficiently across global origins and destinations. If you are a strong operator who can bring structure to ambiguous work, drive follow-through across stakeholders, and build practical systems that enable engineering development, we want to hear from you. Note: Up to 20% global travel is required for this position. San Francisco in-office work is required.
