About The Position

Bristlecone Construction is a general contractor focused on multifamily and hospitality projects, with a strong emphasis on quality, execution, and long-term relationships. We also have a self-performing concrete team that partners with other contractors on projects requiring specialized expertise. The Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of multifamily construction projects. This role works closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure project activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with plans, specifications, and schedules.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

• Experience in multifamily or hospitality construction preferred
• Internship or field experience in multifamily or commercial construction a plus
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling, and cost tracking activities
• Coordinate communication between field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation
• Maintain accurate project records within project management systems
• Review drawings and specifications to identify conflicts or issues
• Assist with subcontractor coordination, procurement, and material tracking
• Support change orders, reporting, and overall project documentation
• Track project progress and communicate updates to the project team
