About The Position

For Project Engineering services in the Capital Projects area. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical preferred) with at least five (5) years of experience in project management life cycle within a regulated industry. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Spanish and English) and comfortable working administrative shifts according to business needs. Experience with technologies such as Reverse Osmosis, Wastewater Re-Use Plant Equipment, Diesel Tank Removals, and Boilers is essential. The role also demands strong project management skills, experience in Cogeneration Projects, and proficiency across all project stages, from developing documentation for quotes to generating reports and leading teams. Technical skills include AutoCad and/or SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project) & SAP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical are preferred)
  • At least five (5) years of exposure in project management life cycle within the regulated industry.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English.)
  • Experience with technologies such as: Reverse Osmosis, Wastewater Re-Use Plant Equipment, Diesel Tank Removals, Boilers, etc.
  • Experience in Cogeneration Projects.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Experience in all project stages: developing documentation to request a quote, generating reports and leading.
  • AutoCad and/or SolidWorks
  • Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power Point, Project & SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate resources to deliver Preventive Maintenance program, scheduling, and planning.
  • Identify and manage inventory of spare parts to unforeseen breakdowns.
  • Coordinate vendors to provide training to local team on capabilities of how to operate equipment implemented.
  • Lead commissioning and management of change (MOC) for equipment ensuring equipment follows all Safety, Sanitation, Electrical and Operation requirements stated in the MOC form.
  • Manage budgets aligned with stakeholders to ensure scope, time, and cost.
  • Coordinate SOW, lead Request for Proposal (RFP) process to deliver contracts, and manage purchase orders, invoices, bid creation, etc.
  • Follow all required PMO VSU Project management principles to define and execute project.
  • Define activities for all tasks following safety, sanitation, and operation requirements.
  • Lead project management of activities coordinating contractors and local teams to achieve tasks and milestones through weekly and daily meetings.
  • Develop/manage timelines (e.g., Microsoft Project) share with leadership and project team progress, gaps, and next steps through comprehensive one pager.
  • Support R&D teams all the way from ideation to execution of the project participating in DFMEA workshops and represent the Pilot Plant as a Single Point of Contact to find out site specifics (utilities such as electrical/air).
  • Lead and support FAT and SAT checklists to ensure evidence for equipment warranty and own equipment supplier relation to ensure Coca-Cola’s goals are achieved within budget, scope and time.
