The Walsh Group is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to join its team in La Porte, Indiana, with a start date in December 2026 or January 2027. Project Engineers work collaboratively to solve problems, use data to inform decisions and recommendations, plan and manage their work, and build relationships while supporting project production. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and claims.
- Assist and support the project team with daily project coordination.
- Procure construction materials.
- Perform quality control and quality assurance checks.
- Coordinate subcontractors.
- Conduct survey and project layout work.
- Take weekly progress photographs for reports.
- Manage construction equipment.
- Support safety management.
- Assist with project estimating.
