Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of construction or project engineering experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling, estimating, and permitting processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support preconstruction planning and coordination for residential construction projects.
  • Review project plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and constructability.
  • Assist with developing project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals.
  • Prepare bid packages and scopes of work for subcontractors and vendors.
  • Coordinate permitting, regulatory approvals, and project logistics.
  • Assist with value engineering efforts to improve project quality and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct site investigations and support project startup activities.
  • Coordinate with project managers, field teams, architects, and engineers throughout the construction process.
  • Help develop project-specific safety and quality plans before construction begins.
