The Project Engineer will lead capital investment and manufacturing improvement projects from scope development through implementation and project closure. This role involves developing project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource requirements. The Project Engineer will coordinate internal and external stakeholders, monitor project performance, manage equipment procurement and installation, and prepare project documentation. Additionally, the role supports new product introductions, production transfers, and ensures compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The Project Engineer will also design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, support manufacturing readiness, analyze production workflows, evaluate manufacturing equipment, and implement manufacturing best practices. Continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies are a key part of this role, as is ensuring compliance with safety policies and environmental regulations. Collaboration with Quality teams to resolve issues and support audits is also expected.
