About The Position

Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support successful project completion. The role supports the project team and crew, including helping ensure the crew has what it needs on site, completing project documentation and record entry, and planning upcoming work to prepare the crew and project for success. The Project Engineer works closely and communicates with Project Managers and Superintendents. Some travel is required (25%).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, and 0–3 years of related construction experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
0–3 years of experience in heavy civil construction.
Valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles that may be driven and an acceptable driving record.
Some travel required (25%).
High attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments under tight deadlines.
Enjoyment of collaboration and communication with teammates.
