About The Position

The Project Controls Specialist supports project managers by developing and maintaining accurate project budgets and schedules, monitoring progress to ensure alignment with financial and timeline goals, and coordinating project activities to promote efficient execution and communication across teams. The role supports Michels Construction, Inc.’s foundation and industrial facility projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field and at least 2 years of related construction experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles that may be driven and an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively; the position requires 50–75% travel.
• Prior experience using document control software, cost control systems, and scheduling software such as Primavera P-6.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
