About The Position
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern to work in its corporate office in Tampa, Florida. The intern supports the Project Engineer and Project Manager with planning, organizing, and completing projects within an assigned area of responsibility. Duties may include reviewing project plans and contractor bids, supporting daily project management tasks, entering data, and helping maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with and assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager with project planning, organization, and completion within an assigned area of responsibility.
- Review project plans and confer with management.
- Review bids from contractors.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform data entry.
- Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer with daily tasks and duties.
