Project Engineer - INTERN

MTech Mechanical•Eagle, ID

About The Position

MTech Mechanical’s Project Engineer Internship is a 13-week summer rotation for students interested in the full lifecycle of commercial mechanical construction, from engineering and design through field operations, project management, commissioning, and closeout. Interns contribute to active projects, visit jobsites, build technical knowledge, and work alongside engineering, project management, field leadership, skilled craft, and other teams. The program is designed primarily for students entering their junior or senior year and can provide an early pathway to MTech’s full-time Project Engineer I Rotation Program after graduation. Participation does not guarantee future employment. The intern supports project operations and coordination, gains exposure to field planning and mechanical trades, and assists with commissioning and project closeout as schedules allow. The position is based in Eagle, Colorado, and takes place in both professional office and active construction-site environments. The general office work is generally sedentary, though standing and walking may be required for up to 20% of the time. Regular and predictable attendance is expected. Other duties may be assigned.
