We are looking for a Project Engineer - Structural to join our dynamic team in Salt Lake City, Utah or Boise, Idaho where you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of marine, waterfront, and bridge structures. This role goes beyond routine calculations - you'll be involved in inspections, assessments, evaluations, analysis, and design, all while developing innovative solutions that meet real-world demands. Requirements

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and ability to collaborate with in-person and remote teams
  • Ability to define problems, collect/interpret data, evaluate facts, draw valid conclusions, and effectively communicate findings/results.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiency and effectively.
  • Familiarity with structural analysis and drafting software (i.e. STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree and/or master’s degree in civil, with a focus in structural engineering from an accredited four-year university.
  • 0 - 4 years of relevant structural engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain within 1 year
  • Valid US Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in designing bridges, marine waterfronts, industrial structures, and temporary construction works, including demolition plans, erection plans, shoring, cofferdams, and concrete formwork.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural engineering computations using conventional structural engineering design software, codes, procedures, practices, and standards.
  • Prepare structural engineering documents including calculations, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Develop written reports and/or provide verbal communication of information in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • Collaborate structural engineering work with other project participants and assist senior engineers.
  • Actively participate in project meetings and work to actively resolve project issues.
  • Identify, creative and innovative engineering solutions based on client, project, and site constraints.
