The Project Engineer provides technical support and administrative help to Project Managers and the business unit as a whole. This is an entry-level role, typically supervised by a Project Manager, offering information, helping with coordination and preparation, and assisting with analyzing and compiling data. The role begins to build solid knowledge about the company, trade best practices, recognized work standards, and expectations, as well as a solid understanding of job cost history, contract status, and job overview reports. It also builds skill in managing customer relationships, working with Accounting to bill customers and enter budgets, and ensuring quality execution.
