About The Position

Continental Properties is looking for a Project Engineer – Field Execution to join our Construction Department team at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. You will work with members of the construction department and other project team members (legal, finance, development) to facilitate several activities associated with the development and construction of our rental housing communities which include workforce housing, market rate and build to rent. You will have the opportunity for career development in the construction department with a stable and growing real estate developer. You will report to the Director of Construction. We embrace a hybrid model that gives our team members autonomy over how they work, paired with a shared commitment to in-person collaboration (3 days per week in-office).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or Architecture required, or Associates Degree and equivalent experience required.
  • Zero to two (2) years of related experience; onsite construction management a plus.
  • Knowledge of or experience with construction project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Complete site visits of active construction projects to review site activities and complete building acceptance walks
  • Maintain a high level of execution meaning projects delivered on time and on budget meeting our quality standards
  • Have knowledge of code, permit, and inspection requirements to obtain inspection approvals and occupancy certificates
  • Address Top 3 and warranty issues when they arise from clubhouse delivery to last building
  • Complete all project close out activities
