Kokosing, a large General Contractor, is seeking a Field/Project Engineer for its Industrial Division. This full-time role involves working on diverse and complex engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, ranging from power generation facilities to other process industries. Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related degree.
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help ensure "Lead with Safety 24/7".

Responsibilities

  • Interpret drawings/specifications/3D models for field crews and craft.
  • Prepare work plans and work packages.
  • Audit operations for safety compliance.
  • Order and schedule material deliveries.
  • Track installation progress.
  • Perform quality inspections and submit test records.
  • Maintain project controls including client report development and schedule updates.
  • Generate change orders reviewed by project management.
  • Supervise subcontractor operations.
  • Support site logistics.
  • Coordinate design and procurement interface.
  • Review and analyze data relative to the project.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings.
  • Complete plans and specification reviews for projects.
  • Assist with the preparation of a bid.
