Mott MacDonald is seeking a licensed Project Engineer to support the delivery of civil and structural services supporting transmission line, substation, and energy infrastructure projects throughout the Southwest and North America. This role is ideally suited for a Professional Engineer with 7+ years of experience delivering civil and structural engineering solutions for electric utility and energy infrastructure clients. The successful candidate will lead engineering tasks and work packages, coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, support direct client interactions, and contribute to the delivery of critical infrastructure that improves grid reliability, system resiliency, renewable integration, and load growth. The ideal candidate combines strong technical engineering skills with practical project delivery experience and a desire to grow into increasingly complex technical leadership and client-facing responsibilities. As a Project Engineer, you will provide technical leadership for the civil and structural components of transmission and substation projects that support utility infrastructure modernization across North America. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, geotechnical specialists, survey and GIS professionals, protection and controls engineers, and utility clients to develop engineering solutions.
