About The Position

The Project Director is responsible for the profitable operation of multiple projects or mega projects with annual revenue exceeding $12 million. The role coordinates all project efforts to ensure efficient, cost-effective execution and serves as the primary client liaison to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction. The position handles the most complex and largest-scale aviation projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
15 years of relevant experience.
20 years of experience delivering large aviation projects.
12 years of people management experience.
Experience leading and coordinating with a large team of architects, engineers, and consultants.

Nice To Haves

Registered Architect (RA) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of mega projects and prepare strategic plans for project success.
Coordinate administrative and technical project efforts for efficient, cost-effective execution.
Serve as the primary liaison with clients and bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction.
Provide oversight and monitoring of work performed by less-experienced project managers.
Manage client budgets, schedules, and programs; HNTB budgets and schedules; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.
Estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts for the most complex, largest-scale projects.
Coordinate work efforts and review work performed.
Provide quality management.
Champion the project team.
Hire, fire, promote, discipline, review performance, allocate work, train, and mentor staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
