About The Position

Serve as project coordinator of the Economic Development Administration Sustainable Polymers Tech Hub WISE workforce development project. This role involves planning, directing, coordinating, and leading activities of the specified project to ensure that goals, objectives, and all elements are met within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. The Project Coordinator will support the day-to-day coordination of WISE and University of Akron component activities, reports, and scheduling. Additionally, this role will manage and conduct UA/high school/community outreach activities, track course and student metrics and milestones, and manage tuition vouchers.

Requirements

  • Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree.
  • Requires a minimum of 4 years experience in project management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database computer software required.

Responsibilities
