This position will support departmental operations by assuming and managing a range of administrative and programmatic responsibilities, including: Faculty Credentialing: Assume responsibility for all faculty credentialing processes, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements. Faculty Promotions: Oversee and coordinate faculty promotion activities, including documentation, timelines, and submission processes. CME Tracking and QGenda Management: Manage Continuing Medical Education (CME) tracking and administer QGenda scheduling functions. Clinical Scheduling: Manage departmental on-call, consult, and e-consult schedules to ensure appropriate coverage. Event Planning: Lead planning and execution of departmental events, including but not limited to the Holiday Party, Swerlick Lecture, and Grand Rounds. Space and Equipment Management: Oversee departmental space utilization and equipment management, including IT coordination and annual inventory audits. General Administrative Support: Provide support for miscellaneous administrative duties, including RST submission, depositing departmental checks, mail management, and P-Card administration.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related project management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a project.
  • Coordinates the strategic planning process and monitors progress toward achieving project goals.
  • Assists in developing, administering and monitoring project related budgets.
  • Coordinates logistical arrangements for related conferences, conventions or meetings.
  • May assist in identifying funding resources and in developing funding strategies and initiatives.
  • Develops and generates various operational and statistical reports.
  • Represents and promotes the project at various speaking engagements.
  • May write grants, reports, briefings, newsletters, promotional or other written material related to the project.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.
