About The Position

This Project Coordinator role reports to the Manager, Project Management, and works closely with the Project Management Team, Construction Supervisors, and Operations to ensure the successful delivery of Iconic Projects. The position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of project-based submissions, including managing project schedules, change management documentation, RFI submissions and tracking, document control, quantity accruals, invoice, cash flow, and forecast updates, client report preparation, logistics management, and updating project scheduling.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a project-based role.
  • General knowledge high voltage construction, civil earthworks and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety practices and procedures in a safety focused workplace.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Proficient communication and the ability to work with multiple partners on the project.
  • Knowledge of Construction Project lifecycle.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

  • College or University Degree.
  • Related experience (can be taken into consideration for degree).
  • Design Build Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day administration for project-based submissions, including project schedule, change management log/documentations, RFI submissions and tracking, document control, quantity accruals, invoice, cash flow, and forecast updates, client reports preparation, logistics management and the preparation and updating of project scheduling.
  • Work closely with the Project Management Team, Construction Supervisors and Operations to support successful project and construction execution as well as development and submission of information to the client.
  • Prepare and update Project Schedules utilising Microsoft Project and or Excel.
  • Maintain tidy and accurate project documentation.
  • Work closely with Project Controller and Project Managers to ensure internal and external deliverables are met.
  • Interact with the client in a manner which fosters strong client satisfaction ratings.
  • Ensure a good working knowledge of company resources and the workflow throughout the project life cycle.
  • Ensure equipment and Materials for the project are procured through close collaboration with the Project Manager and Procurement.
  • Ensure Project Managers have adequate support to produce accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ensure Construction Supervisors and Operations have proper permits, equipment, and material on site for execution.
