About The Position

David Weekley Homes is seeking an experienced, organized, and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join our Indianapolis team. This position provides essential administrative and operational support to our Sales, Construction, Warranty, and Project Manager teams, helping ensure each home progresses smoothly from contract through closing.

Requirements

Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
Excellent time-management, organizational, and follow-up skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and frequent interruptions while maintaining strong attention to detail
Results-oriented and comfortable proactively communicating with vendors, trade partners, and internal team members
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

Residential homebuilding or permitting experience is preferred but not required
Experience with JD Edwards is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

Process sales contracts and coordinate closing documentation
Prepare and submit building permit applications
Communicate with local municipalities regarding permitting requirements and approvals
Track and report building permit, start, and construction-related activity
Maintain accurate and organized electronic files for each home
Coordinate team meetings, events, and other scheduled activities
Process invoices and utility payments accurately and on time
Order and maintain office and operational supplies
Provide additional administrative support based on team and business needs
