About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our security solutions company. This is a full-time, home-based position. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing and tracking various projects, ensuring smooth communication between clients, vendors, and internal teams, and maintaining accurate project documentation. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using project tracking systems, spreadsheets, or software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track active projects, including security installations and electrical upgrades.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Schedule jobs, inspections, and site visits.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Update project status in various tracking systems such as tickets, spreadsheets, or specialized software.
  • Prepare and organize all project documentation, including proposals, permits, reports, and closeouts.
  • Assist with material ordering and inventory coordination.
  • Follow up on open items, including approvals, change orders, and outstanding issues.
  • Support the billing process by confirming completed work, hours, and materials used.
  • Attend and document internal project meetings, including taking notes and tracking action items.
