Project Coordinator (Entry Level for Technical Grads)
About The Position
Teledyne MEMS is seeking a technically-minded new graduate to join them as a Project Coordinator. This role is designed as a launchpad into their engineering organization, specifically for recent graduates in fields such as Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering (Nano), Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Nanosystems Technology. The position offers the opportunity to learn about MEMS fabrication and how cutting-edge microfabrication projects come to life, partnering with global innovators to bring MEMS devices to market. This role is distinct from a traditional project management position and provides exposure to MEMS fabrication, product development, and engineering operations, with mentorship from experienced engineers and project managers. Future opportunities may arise in Process Engineering, Product Engineering, or New Product Introduction.
Requirements
- BSc or diploma in Engineering Physics, EE (Nano), Materials, Mechanical, Physics, Chemistry, or Nanosystems Technology.
- Curiosity, organization, and eagerness to learn how MEMS devices are developed and manufactured.
- Desire to grow into a technical or product leadership role over time.
- Preference to start a career in a hands-on, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in planning and executing MEMS development projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and customer interfaces.
- Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables, and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
- Learn Teledyne's systems, tools, and processes from the ground up.
