The Project Coordinator position is located in Kitchener, Ontario and reports directly to the M&R Division Manager. Requirements

  • A construction engineering technical college diploma or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience;
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks and PDF’s via Adobe or Bluebeam;

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Cosential and Jonas Management System for Construction an asset, but will train

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the dispatch and assignment of tradespeople to active project sites, ensuring efficient scheduling and optimal use of resources;
  • Provide day-to-day support to the M&R team to facilitate effective project execution and communication;
  • Assist with the planning, preparation, maintenance, and ongoing updates of project schedules, documentation, and work plans;
  • Support the monitoring and control of project management processes by tracking deliverables, costs, forecasts, and progress, and assisting with updates to project plans as required;
  • Maintain and update project controls, including issue tracking, change management documentation, logs, databases, and records related to activity durations and risk assessments;
  • Acquire, track, review, and submit shop drawings in accordance with project requirements and timelines;
  • Compile Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals for submission to clients at project close-out;
  • Perform a wide range of project administrative duties, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, recording and distributing meeting minutes, and issuing project communications;
  • Identify process or system gaps and assist in preparing requests for changes or improvements to enhance operational efficiency;
  • Provide support to the estimating department with the preparation, closing, and timely delivery of project estimates;
  • Act in the best interests of Roberts Onsite at all times;
  • Other duties as assigned.
