Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Resource Center team in the role of Project Coordinator. We are seeking an organized, proactive, and people-first coordinator to provide essential project management support and administrative coordination to IU Health's System Nursing Resource team. This is a highly visible, public-facing role supporting a system-wide team of approximately 325–400 nurses across 15 hospitals and 200+ units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience required.
  • Clinical license and/or other certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • 0-3 years of experience is required.
  • Experience exhibiting professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected problems and frequent interruptions is required.
  • Requires basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Excel-based compliance tracking across 200+ units - monitoring due dates, sign-offs, and overdue items, and sending summary communications to managers
  • Supporting onboarding coordination for new hires, including submitting and managing tickets
  • Providing general administrative support to the Director and the broader resource center team
  • Potentially assisting with scheduling coordination as the team's needs evolve
  • Serving as a professional, polished point of contact for internal stakeholders across a large, complex system
  • Supporting special projects and new initiatives as directed, including confidential team expansion efforts
