About The Position

The Project Coordinator oversees the action plans for greenhouse projects to ensure timely and cost-effective coordination of resources.

Requirements

  • A degree in business or horticulture with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in horticulture preferred.
  • Experience in estimating and budgeting for construction projects is helpful.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-management and leadership skills.
  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Monitors RFP requests and coordinates assignments within the estimating team, considering existing resource availability, project scope and deadlines.
  • Communicates with Sales Representatives to clarify project requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Evaluates the RFP and prepares cost estimates by working closely with the sales organization to determine the best products and manufacturing partners to meet the customer's goals.
  • Schedules project meetings, prepares agendas, documents minutes, and coordinates follow-up tasks.
  • Oversee current project status and budget and coordinates team members to keep workflow and spend on track.
  • Manages project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
  • Communicates with management regarding opportunities for process improvement and resource efficiency.
  • Perform other tasks as necessary.
