Project Coordinator

NV5San Diego, CA

About The Position

At NV5, we fully understand the United States aging electrical grid faces significant challenges in meeting the increasing demand for power delivery. Moreover, navigating through permitting requirements can often stall the design and implementation of modern transmission and distribution assets. By harnessing our expertise and providing cutting-edge solutions, NV5 steps in as a leader, to enhance distribution system capacity, fortify against fire and storm risks, and elevate the reliability of electrical service for utility customers. Leveraging proprietary design methodologies and state-of-the-art modeling software, we tackle complex site-specific obstacles head-on, reducing construction timelines and costs associated with electrical distribution and transmission improvements. As our Project Coordinator, you will be supporting a team of Project Managers and Engineers responsible for competitive bidding, managing the design, permitting, construction support, and commissioning (Cx) of Transmission Line projects. You will support multiple projects simultaneously and provide support services in collaboration with the Project Manager by setting up projects, running weekly financial reports, communicating schedule updates, updating final close out reports and assisting with all support services.
