About The Position

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Site Manager in executing large-scale Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) and power generation projects. The role assists with coordinating all phases of field construction, including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and controls (I&C), and commissioning activities for utility-scale power plants. The Project Coordinator supports daily site operations and helps ensure safe, quality-driven execution while contributing to schedule, budget, and productivity goals throughout the project lifecycle. The position may require up to 100% travel based on project assignment and business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 5 years of construction experience, including at least 3 years supporting utility-scale power generation, industrial construction, energy infrastructure, or EPC projects.
Experience supporting construction of large industrial facilities involving multiple disciplines and subcontractors.
Working knowledge of mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation systems commonly found in power generation facilities.
Experience with project management and construction software such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of construction safety regulations, quality control processes, and commissioning practices.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills across engineering, construction, commissioning, and client teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality, safety, and schedule performance.
Ability to build productive working relationships with craft labor, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Able to travel up to 100% based on project assignment and business needs.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with combined cycle power plants, gas turbine systems, steam turbine systems, HRSGs, balance-of-plant equipment, or related energy infrastructure projects.
Leadership potential and a desire to grow into greater construction management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating site construction activities across civil, structural steel, mechanical equipment, piping, electrical, and I&C disciplines.
Support the Site Manager in overseeing construction of gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, balance-of-plant systems, cooling systems, and associated infrastructure.
Coordinate subcontractors, craft labor, vendors, and field engineering teams to support safe and efficient work execution.
Help manage project schedules, work sequencing, and turnover milestones for startup and commissioning.
Monitor construction progress and help ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
Assist in identifying and resolving field issues involving constructability, discipline interfaces, productivity, and schedule impacts.
Participate in site inspections, progress meetings, turnover walks, punch list development, and commissioning readiness reviews.
Support system completion, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and plant startup activities.
Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, change management records, turnover packages, and as-built documentation.
Assist with workforce planning, site logistics, material management, and equipment coordination.
Promote a strong safety culture aligned with incident-free project execution.
Perform other duties as assigned.
