About The Position

The Project Coordinator supports the successful delivery of client-facing IT projects within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. This role serves as a key liaison between clients and internal technical teams, ensuring clear communication, strong coordination, and successful project execution. Leveraging tools like Moovila, the Project Coordinator maintains accurate schedules, proactively identifies risks, and helps drive projects forward across multiple concurrent engagements. This is a fully onsite role requiring consistent in-person collaboration with internal teams and professional interaction with clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of project coordination experience, preferably in an MSP or IT services environment
  • Familiarity with PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask)
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, Microsoft 365/Azure, endpoints)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and technical teams
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Professional presence and strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Moovila (or similar predictive project management tools) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and coordinating IT projects such as client onboarding, cloud migrations (Microsoft 365/Azure), infrastructure upgrades, and system deployments
  • Act as a point of contact for clients on project-related communications, updates, and scheduling
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (engineers, service desk, NOC) to align on priorities and timelines
  • Use Moovila to build, monitor, and maintain project schedules, dependencies, and timelines
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and task completion across multiple active client projects
  • Use Moovila to create weekly deliverable requirements by team/technician
  • Facilitate both internal and client-facing meetings, including status calls and project kickoffs
  • Translate technical updates into clear, client-friendly communication
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including SOWs, timelines, risks, and change requests
  • Proactively identify risks, delays, or scope changes and communicate appropriately to both internal stakeholders and clients
  • Support budget and hours tracking aligned with MSP billing and utilization targets
  • Coordinate project handoffs between Professional Services and ongoing Support teams
  • Assist with procurement and tracking of hardware/software for client projects
