About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Project Coordinator for the Inpatient Case Management Department. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, day shift. This position includes responsibility for special projects involving technology project planning and coordination, process improvement initiatives, healthcare facility remodeling and equipment planning. Recommends procedural and workflow changes when appropriate. Responsible for assigned programs/initiatives. Performs training of inpatient case management administrative support and provides oversight of their workflow. Performs Care Transition Assistant role when necessary. Provides clerical and administrative functions. Maintain the progress and mutual interaction and tasks of various parties in such a way that reduces the risk of overall failure, maximizes benefits, and restricts cost. Functions in one of the following practice settings: Hospitals only.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree
  • 2 years Case Management/Customer Service/Secretarial experience
