About The Position

The Project Coordinator - OSP will provide project coordination efforts, including supporting clients with live updates in company online trackers and client platforms for daily reporting. This role involves attending in-person and virtual meetings with customers, conducting site surveys, and assisting the Project Management Team in creating design plans, material summaries, and cost estimates. The coordinator will also provide permitting support, manage online portals, and forecast approvals. They will align communications with field inspectors, customer agents, and regulatory representatives, and assist with project coordination and material logistics. A key responsibility is the collection and documentation of construction field information, organizing it for timely delivery to clients for project closeouts. The role includes creating and updating construction and splicing redlines, processing daily field production reports from supervisors and subcontractors, and analyzing construction prints and photos for accuracy. Daily KMZ map updates to clients and the field are also required.

Requirements

  • Experience with Client platforms including Smartsheets or similar MS Excel type Client reporting portals as needed to track and successfully forecast of each project.
  • Construction Management degree or relevant work experience in a similar role with required skills may suffice.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and understanding of stations and footage calculations.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills that must include the ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced work environment in a multitude of settings that include both the office and the job site.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Telecom Planning Design, Engineering, Permitting, Construction and Splicing of projects including the ability to review and edit construction plans as needed to forecast materials as deemed necessary for each project.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with the ability to perform in-depth analysis with many different types of data and reporting within Excel, SmartSheets, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Adobe, PRISM, 3GIS, Tableau, Varasset, Bidmaster, etc. as needed for each Client.

  • AutoCadd and 3GIS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project coordination efforts that will include support to our Clients with live updates in Company online trackers, and Client platforms as they are required for reporting, daily.
  • Attend in-person and virtual meeting requests with Customers including site surveys resulting in assisting the Project Management Team in creation of design plans, required material summaries and detailed cost estimates.
  • Provide Permitting support with the understanding of how each municipality requires submission, via hard copy or online portal management and provide forecasts of estimated approvals to prepare field crews for work commence.
  • Align communications and reporting with field inspectors, Customer Agents, City Staff / Regulatory Agency Representatives, as required or as needed.
  • Assist with Project Coordination and Material Logistics Management needs.
  • Collection and proper documentation of construction field information and organize into a presentable format for ultimate delivery to the Customer in a timely manner as needed for project closeouts and to meet each specific Client required deliverable.
  • Creation and continual update of Construction and Splicing Redlines including remediation with field crews as needed for billing.
  • Collection, translation, and processing of daily field production report submittals from Construction Supervisors and subcontractors, organizing and simplifying these activities into contract billing units and reporting these to the Project Management Team.
  • Analyze construction prints and photos for accuracy and incorporate final redlined asbuilt data into detailed reports, documents, and custom maps that may including taking remediation photos at active construction sites as required for final billing packages.
  • Provide Daily KMZ map updates to both Client and the Field based upon previous days activities and planned future activities.
