About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Project Coordinator - Large/Major. This is a hybrid role located at our Arden, NC location. The Project Coordinator serves as the commercial liaison between the product lines, Field Sales, Field project managers and the customer during the execution of Large and Major complex project orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 4 years customer service experience
  • Candidate must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC to be considered

Nice To Haves

  • 6 years of Customer Service or Project Management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Excel
  • LEAN, CI success and experience
  • Ability to train and onboard new professionals within Avery Creek and Queretaro.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers in assigned territory or vertical segment.
  • Use Eaton prescribed tools and applications to enter project orders consisting of Built-To-Order, Assembled-To-Order, and Engineered-To-Order equipment.
  • Promote proactive project management through timely and accurate communications with internal partners (Operations, Credit, Sales) and external customers relative to scheduling status, expediting, change orders, logistics and financial order management.
  • Serve as the customer’s advocate by relaying the appropriate level of urgency to peer contacts in the operations and escalating issues as required to management.
  • Manage daily phone and email activity, providing directions, solutions and updates, including back-up support as necessary for teammates.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in providing proactive support on complex orders which may include those assigned to Field Project Managers.
  • Take active role in developing, mentoring, and monitoring On-the-Job-Training for less experienced Project Coordinators.
  • Meet expectations per EatonCare Service Level Agreement.
  • Perform all other duties as required by Regional Management.
