Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management
  • Minimum 7 years delivering design and engineering projects, preferably in a consultancy environment
  • PMP, chartered status, or demonstrable progress towards certification preferred
  • Diverse project lifecycle experience; experience in complex infrastructure or marine projects preferred
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to prioritize, manage multiple complex tasks, meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities
  • Project management skills: planning, schedule/cost controls and earned value management
  • Risk & scheduling tools: working knowledge of Acumen Risk and Primavera P6
  • Experience managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and detailed supporting schedules
  • Ability to tailor information and data for different audiences and management levels
  • Integrate inputs from multi-disciplinary teams to deliver aligned outcomes
  • Understand and manage cost, risk and contractual implications
  • Logical approach to resolving complex, multi-faceted project issues
  • Familiarity with InEight Documents, Mortar, Smartsheet and other collaboration platforms
  • Oral & written communication with influencing skills and ability to build effective relationships at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Support Zone Managers with task management, communication of project strategy, and team engagement.
  • Improve productivity through refined processes, procedures, systems, and schedule reporting using company planning tools.
  • Lead quality & safety by example, complying with the Safety Management System and promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Coordinate resource utilization, analyze and communicate complex scheduling issues, and validate submitted information.
  • Ensure record-keeping, reporting compliance, and prepare tailored project reports for different stakeholders.
  • Assist change notices, support change management, and participate in scheduling reviews, audits, and validations.
  • Perform other duties as required and engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
