About The Position

LaRiviere, Inc. is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager to support project managers and field personnel in their excavation and concrete divisions within the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho region. This role is ideal for someone with experience or knowledge in heavy civil construction, including roads, bridges, and water & sewer installations, and offers significant growth opportunities. The position involves extensive project administration, coordination with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in gathering equipment, resources, vendors, and subcontractors for project implementation.
  • Manage project administration and provide administrative support for subcontractors and vendors.
  • Act as a liaison for government entities, vendors, suppliers, and owners on projects.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for contract and PO reconciliation to maintain budgets.
  • Submit engineering submittals, certified payrolls, and SWPPP reporting.
  • Provide field support as required.
  • Build and distribute subcontracts, service agreements, and POs.
  • Create and maintain project POs.
  • Perform accounts payable reconciliation for projects.
  • Gather and distribute project documents to the field, including field binders, plans, specs, permits, schedules, and job posting documents.
  • Set up project processes and maintain document distribution throughout the project according to owner and project specifications.
  • Attend project meetings.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation for vendors and subcontractors, including sub accruals and pay applications.
  • Validate and maintain file documents such as payrolls, submittals, owner websites, invoices, pay apps, SWPPP documents, lien waivers, COI, EEO, PPP, Davis Bacon, prevailing wage, DBE, apprentice requirements, and permits.
  • Manage SWPPP, including building SWPPP and Erosion Control Plans, and maintaining weekly SWPPP reporting, filing documents, and reports for storm events.
  • Support PMs with daily requirements.
  • Manage project close-out activities, including lien waiver filings, certified payroll close-out, retention payouts, and WH-5 forms.
  • Handle potential extra duties such as position documentation, training, process setup and changes, setting up project-specific vendor processes, and varied special projects as requested by management (e.g., documentation, bid support).
