About The Position

Able to interpret engineering drawings and have knowledge of fundamental engineering principles
Strong mechanical aptitude
Create final assembly, sub-assembly and component drawings of new product development projects utilizing 3D CAD software.
Support delivering timely responses to all customer inquiries, while working closely with engineering to meet customer needs.
Prepare bills of materials and specifications when drawings are complete.
Ensure the initiation, accuracy, and maintenance of Engineering Change Orders (ECO's).
Interacts closely with both Manufacturing Personnel and Engineers to complete projects.
Collaborates in a team environment, supports development of assigned products (e.g., new mechanical or electromechanical components, subsystems, and systems) by applying as directed basic engineering principles.

• Graduate of related two-year vocational school program and three years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in-office 40 hours per week during Summer 2024
• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States. Preference will be given to junior status or above
• Ability to work effectively on a variety of assignments
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team
• Experience using engineering CAD programs
