The Project Coordinator II PDSS - SDCA is responsible for managing assigned 4E packages and DD250 items from planning to execution, ensuring work aligns with schedules and production targets. This role provides coordination and guidance to functional project leads to ensure efficient vessel construction, focusing on milestones, cost, and schedule performance. The position involves coordinating and resolving craft-specific production work sequence conflicts and may require managing repair efforts in various offsite locations with potential for significant travel (40-50%). The coordinator will maintain a daily presence to monitor safety, housekeeping, work progress, and staff performance, manage labor and subcontractors, conduct craft meetings, and coordinate with the scheduler for the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Key responsibilities include validating status reporting, ensuring compliance with quality procedures, contract requirements, and regulatory guidelines, and maintaining communication with the Project Lead for status updates and corrective actions. The role also involves monitoring resource requirements, validating rework and lessons learned processes, preparing Statements of Work (SOW), and proactively identifying and resolving issues on the deck plate to ensure work progresses as planned. Performs other duties as assigned and complies with company policies.
