About The Position

Wachter is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support a team of Electrical Project Managers on active construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys keeping complex projects running smoothly behind the scenes. The Project Coordinator will act as a trusted support partner to Project Managers, helping projects run efficiently, reducing administrative friction, and contributing directly to successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or project support role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction or electrical contracting
  • Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, and drawings
  • Exposure to project billing or job cost tracking

Responsibilities

  • Support project documentation such as submittals, RFIs, and closeout packages
  • Keep electronic project files organized and up to date
  • Assist with change orders, billing, and purchase order tracking
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and job start documentation
  • Track material deliveries and key project milestones
  • Prepare routine project correspondence and meeting notes
