About The Position

Support the Portfolio Governance & Operations team by coordinating project activities, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in process improvement initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing an IT or business-related degree at a university, in good academic standing at time the internship begins.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and synthesize input into actionable steps.
  • Detail-oriented with an interest in project management and governance.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and learning new systems quickly.
  • Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
  • Frequently required to lift 51-70 pounds as needed
  • Potentially exposed and required to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wet, etc.), as well as working at various heights or elevated platforms
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule project meetings, manage calendars, and assist with resource planning.
  • Update project data in the PPM tool and ensure accuracy across reporting systems.
  • Facilitate conversations between functional, business, and technical analysts to clarify requirements, resolve gaps, and drive consensus on project objectives.
  • Document lessons learned, identify inefficiencies, and recommend enhancements to workflows.
  • Help monitor adherence to governance frameworks and escalate gaps or risks.
  • Assist in mapping projects to organizational priorities and flag opportunities for better alignment.
  • Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
