Project Controls Specialist (Level 3-5)
About The Position
NEC is seeking qualified applicants for a Project Controls position. This candidate would have 10-14 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field. Position requires demonstrated knowledge and experience of control systems including Earned Value Management and applicable project management processes. This is a full-time on-site position in Oak Ridge, TN. Position requires demonstrated knowledge and experience of control systems including Earned Value Management and applicable project management processes. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in reporting to customers and stakeholders. Ability to work with personnel at all levels across organization and external stakeholders. Ability to identify and develop required resources to support project schedules; ability to logically and systematically evaluate project and process problems to determine appropriate solutions; ability to interface with internal and external customers, including management, users and DOE, NNSA and NPO.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree plus 10-14 years direct experience require, or MA or MS with 10-13 years experience
- Verifiable experience using P6 and doing project controls work
- EVMS experience
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with personnel at all levels across organization and external stakeholders
- Ability to identify and develop required resources to support project schedules
- Ability to logically and systematically evaluate project and process problems to determine appropriate solutions
- Ability to interface with internal and external customers, including management, users and DOE, NNSA and NPO
