About The Position

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Project Controls Scheduler - Data Center in Lithia Springs, Georgia. This role serves as the Scheduling Lead on electrical data center projects, responsible for performing scheduling and reporting. The position involves analyzing project information and preparing documents for efficient planning and scheduling. The scheduler will develop detailed schedules with the project team and trade partners, and be responsible for input, analysis, and monitoring of design deliverables, procurement, and construction schedules. This role includes oversight of all project scheduling activities and providing required status updates, forecasts, and reports. Additionally, the scheduler will review and evaluate schedule updates and changes, producing impact reports to assess the financial impact of schedule changes and potential delays. The role requires performing work on the Project Site and interacting with the Project Team and Design Team.

Requirements

  • 3 year's recent electrical (industrial or commercial) construction scheduling and project management experience.
  • Proficient in MS Project and P6.
  • HS Diploma/GED.
  • Ability to produce detailed schedules, and resource and cost loading.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction disciplines.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer programs (EXCEL, WORD).
  • Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Data Center experience preferred.
  • Electrical Field experience not required but preferred.

Responsibilities
