About The Position

The Project Controls Coordinator will assist in data collection for all project schedules, advise on potential schedule delays, and provide regular updates to the project management team. This role involves performing shop walks to track manufacturing progress, developing skills in MS Project or Primavera Project Manager for schedule data maintenance, and maintaining communication with shop personnel, project management, and the project controller. The position also supports the improvement of data collection methods and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • The ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality is required
  • The ability to remain organized with keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is required
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines utilizing excellent time management skills is required
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, etc. is required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in business or other relevant field preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience in an ISO 9001 environment is preferred
  • Experience with MS Project, P6 or Primavera Project Manager is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist in data collection for all project schedules
  • Advise Project Controller/Project Controls Lead of possible schedule delays
  • Provide regular and as-needed updates to the project management team
  • Perform regular shop walks to track progress of manufacturing activities
  • Develop MS Project or Primavera Project Manager skills to assist with the maintenance of project schedule data
  • Maintain regular communication with shop personnel, project management, and the project controller
  • Assist with improvement of data collection methods and procedures
